100 Word Challenge Week 12

“Quickly get the money and lets leave!” hurried Connor. “Ok I’m going as fast as I can!” shot back Sam. “Can you hear that? It’s sirens! Hurry up!” Connor said anxiously. “Ok I’m done, lets go!” Connor and Sam opened the bank door and ran to their red, rusty pick-up. They climbed in, started the engine and the pick-up drove off leaving dust and rubble. 1 Day Later “Hey Sam! Look we seem to be on the television!” shouted Connor happily. “Yo, that’s cool as! We are rich and affluent, let’s just hope the cops never find us.” exclaimed Sam.

“Look at that pretty gorilla!” exclaimed Cameron with joy. A gorilla sat there in a brick cage with a bright yellow bow. “This is so boring,” complained Sam. “why do we have to come?” “It's so interesting! Look its running around now!” said Cameron trying to cheer up Sam. Suddenly the gorilla burst out of the cage running around like a mad man. Everyone panicked and started screaming and running in all directions. Complete mayhem broke out, tables turned and people scrambling to get out of the zoo. “Come on Cameron, let’s get out of here!” screamed Sam above the chaos.

“80 push-ups now!” shouted Mr Phillips. “I don’t want to,” moaned James “why do I have to?” “Because I said so! Now do as I say!” screamed the bulky teacher. “Jeez, I hate Mr Phillips.” groaned William. “Doesn’t everyone?” replied back Josh. It was a horrible, wet, gloomy day and Mr Phillips had taken his P.E class out for P.E. Mr Phillips despised his class and did everything in his power to punish them for no reason. “What did you say Mr William Coban?” said Mr Phillips suspiciously. “Two laps around the field now!” “I’m not going to!” shouted back William. “What did you say?” said Mr Phillips, and he swung his big fist straight at William’s face.

Two broad, tall, lean men walked onto the Bath Arena with swords and shields in their hands. Two brave, courageous, daring fighters ready to duel. One of those soldiers wore orange, and bright armour. The other soldier wore all black armour with a cold, hard stare driving into his opponent. They walked to the middle and a gong ringed. The black soldier flashed his sword at the bright soldier and the bright soldier danced around the sword effortlessly. The bright soldier than struck his sword at the black soldier who clumsily fell over and landed on his back. The bright soldier than planted his sword on his opponent's chest. The crowd held their breath.

It was a dull, boring, uneventful Sunday and Jonathan was bored. It had been raining all morning and there was nothing to do. “Jonathan, since you’re bored, go take out the trash for the pickup truck!” shouted Jonathan’s mum. “But it’s raining!” Jonathan whimpered. “I don’t care.” she replied. With a sigh, Jonathan reluctantly went outside and put the rubbish out next to the letter post. Jonathan noticed something on the letter post. It was a big, red button. Jonathan wondered, should I press it? Curiosity got the better of Jonathan. He pressed it. At first, nothing happened, but then Jonathan went 10 times smaller. Everything surrounding him looked 10 times bigger. Jonathan was in trouble.

Nathan felt a cold, hard barrel touch his head from behind. “Now I’ve got you and there’s no way you can escape.” the mysterious voice said. Nathan slowly and carefully turned around. Nathan had been sent on a mission by M68 to assassinate someone. He also had his colleague Tim to help him, but had mysteriously disappeared when the stranger turned up. Suddenly Nathan grabbed the barrel of the gun, twisted it so hard that it bent and then sent a flying punch into the strangers stomach. The stranger though was faster and brought another gun from out behind. “Nice try.” said the stranger and he pointed the gun at his head. Nathan waited for the shot to kill him. It was over. BANG! But the bang wasn’t from the gun pointed at him. The stranger slumped and fell head first into the ground. Behind him, was standing Tim.

Samantha cowered in the dark, enclosed corner unwillingly facing her fear. Bullies. “What are you going to do Samatha? Call for your mommy.” her bullies teased. “I don’t want to do this the hard way.” Samantha replied trying to sound bold. “Pfff whatever.” replied the bully rudely. Suddenly Samantha leapt from her corner, swung a high roundhouse kick with no time for her nemesis to react and connected with her bullies jaw. Another bully swung their fist at her and she leapt back just in time and swung a uppercut into the other bullies mandible and the bully went out cold. However, she couldn’t believe what she had done, and was so shocked she ran past the bullies with open mouths gaping at her.

It was a beautiful sunny day and Harry and his friend, Bob decided to go to their hut in the nearby forest. They wanted to go for a explore around the forest, so they set off and came upon a bridge with daffodils. The daffodils were huge, big, pink, fluffy daffodils. Harry and Bob were very interested in these daffodils, but didn’t want to touch them in case they got hurt. But they decided to go back to the hut and get gloves and scissors to cut them. After they got the gloves they noticed that the daffodils had gone. Someone else was in the forest.

“What’s this?” I asked to my friend. “It looks like some green, spiky, plant.” he replied. It was a Monday and Cameron and Justin had decided to skip school and explore a lost park. They were running around and found a bush. It had some unknown, ball shaped like plant poking out of it. “Should we touch it?” Cameron asked. “I’m not, but you can go ahead.” Justin replied. “Here goes nothing.” said Cameron as he reached forward to touch it. He touched the plant but nothing happened. “Oh, nothing happens.” said Cameron Suddenly Cameron went into a seizure. He shook and vibrated non stop until he passed out. Justin froze in shock.

“Oh no, we have PE now.” I said to my friend. “This is going to be a nightmare.” he replied. PE was always a nightmare with Mr. Johnstone. He always was so mean to the students. “Alright kids, don’t just stand there, 20 laps now!” Mr Johnstone bellowed. It took them 30 minutes before they finished half of the laps and Mr Johnstone called them over. All of them were huffing and puffing in exhaustion. “Johnny, could you please go have a break. You’ve worked hard.” Mr Johnstone said. I thought that’s really strange. All of the class looked at him like he was a mad man. I was about to ask him to repeat what he said, but he interrupted. “Well, don’t just stand there.” he said. I went over and sat down. “What do you think you are doing, sitting there?” Mr Johnstone said in rage. “But I didn’t understand the instructions.” I pleaded. “Enough.” he replied “200 laps, and don’t stop until you’ve finished.” I must of been daydreaming.

Reflective Questions 18th May

Where did you meet success, and who might benefit most from what you've learned along the way? I meet success today in assembly when me and ollie played our cellos. Other people might be inspired by both of our performance. Where did you encounter difficulties or struggle today? How did you overcome that? I met difficulties today also in french when struggling on my worksheet. I overcame that by working with persistent until I finished the worksheet. What learning or work today brought you the most satisfaction? Why? My french worksheet brought me the most satisfaction today because I had worked hard and had finally finished it.

I opened the door and entered. What stood before me was amazing creatures with all different vibrant colours shining out so you couldn’t miss it and mutant creatures with six legs. A weird four-legged creature crawled up to me. “Hey there little buddy.” I said “What are you?” The creature said “Oinoof” “Oh you are a pig mixed with a dog.” I replied in realisation. Suddenly a human walked up to me and I backed away in fear in not knowing who they were. But the human walked up to me and shook my hand. “What’s your name?” the person asked. “Craig.” Out of nowhere every creature swarmed me like a nest of bees. I ran. “Wait, Craig, wait, Craig, Craig, Craig, Craig wake up!” My eyes jolted open and I sat up in my bed. It was a dream.

It was the day I had been waiting for. The day that I had been constantly worrying about. Will it arrive? Will it not arrive? I got up out of my bed and went outside to the kitchen to find my mum standing waiting for me. She was holding it. Is that my clothing parcel I’ve been waiting for? “When did it arrive?” I said. She replied “This morning when I woke up I saw it.” I grabbed it and it felt unusually heavy. I put it to my ear and heard an interesting ticking sound. I smelt it and it smelled like metal. Even more unusual. I checked the address from where it had come from. Nothing. There was also not our home address, where it had been delivered. Then it struck me. Could this be something dangerous?!

Where did you meet success, and who might benefit most from what you've learned along the way? I meet success today when my group finished our formal language sheet. My group benefited because we all learnt together.

Where did you meet success, and who might benefit most from what you've learned along the way? I met success when me and my group finally finished our prototype for our cement pot plant in tech. My group benefited from what we learned along the way because me, william, lucy and emma now know what to do for our next products.

100 Word Challenge Week 1

It was a wonderful, sunny Saturday. The sun heated up bright, crimson flowers bursting out for everyone to see and Matt was reading on his bed. The sun burned through his window giving Matt a nice tinge of warmth throughout his body. “Matt, it’s Sunday and you know what that means.” Matt’s heart sank. Visiting Grandma’s grave. Matt suddenly felt miserable. He hated visiting her grave. It was always so creepy and misty. He slowly trunched, sulkingly out the door, down the street, past the dairy and reached the graveyard. Matt shuddered. Something didn’t feel right. He saw a shadow of a person. He frantically moved to try get attention. He shouted in fear. Nothing came out.

Lights, camera, action. Lights flooded the stage and suddenly the black, boring platform in the auditorium seemed alive. I seemed alive. Music started and a melodious, bright melody on a cello filled what seemed like a empty space, now a room full of emotions and feelings. I edged forwards on my seat. All out of the blue a very bulky, muscular man strided onto the stage. A princess appeared up high in a castle. “But how did she get up there?” I wondered. “I will save you!” he boomed. “Watch out, there’s a dragon over there!” the damsel in distress cried in sadness. The dragon swiped at him.

Weekly Reflection Week 7

What I learnt this week: I learnt this week about analogies and what they mean. I also started on making a analogy. I also learnt more about masculine and feminine words in french. What to work on: I am going to work on next week to chatter less in class time. Highlights: This week was a hectic week and I went down to Hereworth for tennis. The billeting experience was great and now I have had two billeting experiences. It was really fun and enjoyable. I can't wait for the weekend!

The dreaded day had come. Today me, and mum had to go to an open day tour at Northbowl School. We got there and we started the tour. Ten minutes of walking around with boredom I had, had enough. It was too much to handle. “Mum, I want to go home.” Surprisingly my mum replied “Sure dear, let’s go home.” Just as we were going to leave something caught my eye. A teacup dug into the ground sparked my interest. I walked over to the teacup sensing that this was very peculiar. I inspected it and decided to push the bottom of the teacup. It opened. I crawled inside.

It was our rugby final. Our whole team was ready for the game. We went to our formation and the starting whistle went. The opposition caught it and suddenly our big, meaty captain ran straight at the opponent. He crouched down and tackled. Suddenly you could hear a massive splitting sound. Someone screamed. “Look” someone said. The opposition's sprig had dug into our captain’s leg and there was a big, deep gash. Quickly our coach said “I’ve got it, I’ll rip open the cut and it will help.” My gut knew this was wrong but I went along with it anyway. The next I saw our captain. His leg was amputated because there was too much blood coming out. But what if I was in charge? I could have saved his leg.

“John, wake up! We’re going on a sculpture trip!” “I don’t want to go!” I moaned. It was a cloudy, grey, and boring day and my mom had forced our family to go on a sculpture trip. We got there, paid out tickets and started to walk around the site. One minute later, I was so bored. “I want to go home.” I whimpered. “Ok, fine we’ll go home now.” my mum said.
